Our Activities at Kids In Disability Sports, Inc. (K.I.D.S.)

We offer a variety of sports, social and recreational activities for individuals from age 6 and above with all types of disabilities.

K.I.D.S. does not discriminate based on race, color, creed, age, sexual orientation or national origin. Here are the different programs that we offer:

Athletics

Baseball

This program is held at Bowlero in Lowell, MA and runs for 90 minutes each week from mid-September to the beginning of March. Two strings are played.

Flag Football

K.I.D.S. partners with the Dracut High School Football Team for Flag Football. Floor Hockey

Most individuals in the K.I.D.S. floor hockey program are able to independently participate and take direction in a team setting.  Participants do warm-ups and drills, followed by games.  The program runs for approximately 75 minutes once per week for 6-8 weeks.

Annual Awards Banquet

Each year we celebrate the accomplishments of participating kids and have a great time giving out awards, sharing memories, and eating a hearty dinner.  It’s a time to reflect on everything we’ve done together each year.

This program is a series of fun dances for individuals in K.I.D.S to help improve their confidence, self-esteem, and coordination. These classes are designed to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs as they grow and develop.
