Founder & Board of Directors
“You’re the best!”
Bruce’s famous saying
FOUNDER
Bruce Lucier
April 28, 1951 – April 17, 2018
In 1995, Bruce founded Kids in Disability Sports, Inc. to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities. Paralyzed himself, Bruce believed that individuals with disabilities deserved the same opportunities for recreation, sports and skill-building as everyone else. Bruce was a fierce advocate for individuals with disabilities as evidenced by his tireless work and dedication to the organization.
Bruce would always have a kind word to say about each and every member, and nothing made him happier than seeing the smiles on their faces. Bruce’s memory will live on in the hearts and lives he touched in the K.I.D.S. organization and beyond.
“If you had fun, you won!”
